Maile Aguila, senior vice president of residential sales, brings over 30 years experience in finance and real estate sales and sales management to Swire Properties, one of the leading real estate developers in South Florida and subsidiary of London-based Swire Pacific Holdings.
During her fifteen-year tenure with Swire Properties, Aguila has led sales efforts for the company’s Brickell Key developments, an impeccable record that has generated more than $800 million in revenue for the Tequesta Point, Courts Brickell Key, Carbonell and Asia condominiums and has helped significantly elevate Swire Properties’ profile among domestic and international markets. In addition to sales of Swire’s Brickell Key developments, she has directed all operations of general real estate subsidiary Swire Realty. Aguila also oversaw sales documentation and accounting on behalf of Swire Properties at the luxury condominium Jade, a joint venture with Fortune International successfully completed in 2004.
Aguila previously held several progressively senior management positions with some of the leading real estate sales and development companies in the Southeast, including The Sunshine Group, Ben Franklin Properties, Lowell Homes, Eagle Mortgage Group, Sandmar Realty, and Dayco Investment Corp, among others.
Prior to embarking on her successful real estate career, she served as a senior accountant with Hurdman and Cranston and Arazoza, Gravier and Company, both certified public accounting firms.
Aguila earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Miami. She is also a registered Florida real estate and mortgage broker, a member of the Miami Master Brokers Forum, Who’s Who of American Woman, the National Association of Women Executives, Miami Board of Realtors and has been a member of FIABCI and the CIPS designee. An accomplished equestrian, Aguila has won several national and regional titles, both in the US and Canada, with her Arabian and half- Arabian horses. She lives on her Redlands horse farm with her daughter.
